Private children’s sessions are personally tailored for each child based on the child’s needs and goals. Whether your child needs to manage anxiety and stress, increase flexibility and strength, or utilize yoga as a counter exercise to a competitive sport. a private yoga class is a wonderful way to introduce yoga and create a tailored practice for unique needs. Classes can include anything from yoga poses, meditation, and mindfulness to breathing exercises.
Classes are designed specifically for children and are much different than traditional yoga classes for adults at a studio. Each class offers activities that engage children and give them the tools to feel stronger, happier, calmer, and more peaceful inside!
Group Classes
Perfect for schools, private events, or even parties! Classes are separated into two age categories:
Ages 3-7
Classes include creative and imaginative stories! For example, we may take a trip to the beach where we see boats (boat pose), crabs (crab walk), fish (fish pose), and dolphins (dolphin pose). We may take a trip to the beach and include easy breathing activities such as mimicking the sound of ocean waves with our breathing.
Ages 8-12
Classes include partner games such as Simon Says, balancing poses while bouncing a ball, picking a pose using yoga cards, and even opportunities to create their own yoga game! We explore more challenging poses such as Crow pose and even headstands and dive deeper into breathing activities and mindfulness.
